Dr. John T. Lask, DDS

Dr. Lask graduated from Kansas State University with an undergraduate degree in business management. Upon graduation he entered the United States Marine Corps where he served as an officer in the artillery. After serving four years, he was accepted to UMKC School of Dentistry in Kansas City where he had a full Navy scholarship. Dr. Lask served his country once again as an officer in the Navy Dental Corps where he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (A.E.G.D.) residency in Chicago, IL. Following his service in the Navy, he completed his specialty training in endodontics (root canals and root surgery) again at UMKC School of Dentistry.

Dr. Lask’s specialist training focused exclusively on root canal therapy, retreatments of failed root canals, root surgery (apicos), trauma and management of medically compromised patients as well as teaching undergraduate dental students in clinical endodontics. 

Dr. Lask is currently an assistant clinical professor in the department of endodontics at the UMKC School of Dentistry on a part-time basis. 

Outside of the office, Dr. Lask, enjoys boating and spending time with his 5 beautiful children; ages 14-25.
